Whitland Town Council has allocated some of its precept to assist young people of the town.

One of the donations this month was to help with the costs of starting a Rainbow Club locally.

This will be based at the Memorial Hall on Wednesdays and starts at 5.15 pm. The club will begin this coming Wednesday, October 10.

The other donation was to help with travel costs for talented young bowler Ryan Thomas who was selected for the Welsh U25 team which recently won the Home International Series in Glasgow.
