At the Community Room at St. David's Avenue on Tuesday, members treated themselves to a 'brought in' afternoon tea. After the usual business meeting, some 50 members enjoyed a delicious spread, bought from Christine James at Tavernspite Tearooms. The prettiest brooch competition was won by Mrs. Pauline Richards. Speaker for Tuesday, May 27, will be Mr. Emyr Phillips, giving a talk on the 'Cardi Bac'. The competition will be for best old photo/picture, depicting times in the early 20th century.
