Produce Market: Still looking for 'baked goods' producers. We would like to be able to offer breads, patisserie, sweet and savoury pies, tarts, flans, quiches, home-made cakes, brownies, cookies, biscuits, Welsh cakes, cheesecakes, puddings, desserts, sausage rolls, pasties, etc. (in no particular order). Valentine's Day Produce Market and Craft Fayre: The ideal opportunity to go and get a last minute Valentine's Day present. On Saturday, February 14 (9.30 am to 12.30 pm) in the Whitland Memorial Hall. From cards to cakes, hats and gloves to pottery, jams to jewellery, there will be a quite a variety of produce and gifts on offer. You'll be able to get all the ingredients for a perfect Valentine's Day meal.
Bump to Baby: Are you pregnant or have a baby under 12 months? If that is the case, then the Bump to Baby Group will provide you with a great opportunity to meet with other Mums (or Mums to be) and benefit from their experience by exchanging ideas and tips. The sessions are organised by the local health visitor, Diana Beavan (tel. 01994240132), and Lynwen (tel. 07837396016) from Twf, who are on hand to offer advice. The group meets every Tuesday from 10 am.
YCwtch Llaeth - Whitland BreastFeeding Support Group: The Whitland Support Group meets weekly on Thursdays in the Memorial Hall, from 10.30 am - 12.30 pm. Come along to meet and chat to other breastfeeding mothers and meet the breastfeeding counsellor. The next 'Breastfeeding Basics' workshop, meanwhile, is on Saturday, February 21. There is free computer and internet access for job searches and access to your Universal Job Match Account. Training and confidence building workshops or signpost to agencies who can offer help and support in employment and career opportunities are also available.
