During June the choir visited the Ridgeway Residential Home at Llawhaden where they entertained the ladies and gentlemen who live there. Soloist for this concert was Phil and the choir was led and accompanied by Juliet, the MD of the choir.

Later in June, the choir sang at the Yacht Club in Neyland as part of their annual celebrations. Again, the choir was led by Juliet, with Hefina ably assisting at the piano. Soloist at this concert was a young lady from Reynalton, Emily Tranter, who delighted both audience and choir with songs from the shows.

Earlier this month, the choir visited the Llysyfran area as part of the entertainment at the Llysyfran Summer YFC concert. As this is held in a marquee in a field, and as we have had the wettest June on record, you can well imagine the state of the ground underfoot. Soloists for this concert were students of Mrs. Maralyn Lewis, of Maenclochog, members of the Llysyfran YFC, and then the choir sang to end each half of the concert.

Finally, last Tuesday, the choir visited the Bleanmarlais Residential Home in Narberth. Phil was once more soloist and Hefina also sang a few items.

The choir visit several homes throughout the year, some during the summer as well as at Christmas time.

The choir will take a break at the end of July and usually do not meet again until early September. However, this year, they have accepted to sing at Longstone Chapel, Ludchurch, as part of their anniversary services. This is on August 5.
