The Welsh Blood Donation Service will be visiting Tenby this Friday (March 20)

Blood donation is classed as essential travel and the service is asking people to donate as much as they can during these unprecedented times.

The service will be available for people to donate at the Leisure Centre, from 11am-1pm and from 3pm to 7pm.

If you have been tested and diagnosed with COVID-19 you should only donate when 14 days have passed following your recovery of symptoms.

If you have been in self-insolation because of possible symptoms or because of contact with someone who is unwell you should not donate until 14 days from the first day of isolation if you remain symptom free.

You should also not donate for 14 days following the resolution of any symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 that you may have developed during self-isolation or if you have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or someone who is showing symptoms.

If you have not been advised to self-isolate you continue to donate as long as you are feeling well.
