Sir,
Your headline on your front page, September 2, was ‘Historic Time’ for Tenby education. You carried on, ‘Ysgol Hafan y Mor - (whatever that means) - is the first of its kind in South Pembs. and has been established in response to the growing demand for Welsh medium education in the area’.
That statement was totally untrue as the majority of the residents of Tenby were against it and their views were not asked.
The concept was laid down by the Welsh Assembly and the county council, especially the councillors of the North Pembrokeshire belt.
So please print the truth, that Tenby did not want that school and will gain nothing by having it.
Ivor Jenkins,
Poynton,
Cheshire.
