Last Sunday morning, Trinity, Tabernacle and Bethel met at Bethel Congregational Chapel, Llanddewi Velfrey, for a united service based on the once very popular Gamanfa Ganu, with members participating in the selection of the hymns and the readings which was prepared by the minister, Rev. Guto Llywelyn. The organist was Mrs. Helen Thomas.
Prior to the last hymn, the minister addressed the congregation and thanked those who had taken part and those who had assisted with the organisation of what was obviously a successful and very enjoyable service.
The collection, which was added to the proceeds of the treasure hunt held earlier, was given to the Paul Sartori Cancer Fund.
Afterwards, the congregation were invited to refreshments provided and served by the Bethel ladies.
