Pembroke Dock businesses are being encouraged to get involved with the town’s first “Turn The Town Red” event in support of British Red Cross Week.

The British Red Cross Charity has had a busy few years with the pandemic and now Ukraine. To encourage the town to show solidarity and pull the community together, the Pembroke Dock Shop is inviting all to join in by putting something red in their windows this week until next Friday, May 13. This could be a red scarf, ribbon or balloon, As long as it’s something red!

Pembroke Dock British Red Cross Shop Manager Hannah Merrett said: “All of us in the local shop are very excited to see Pembroke Dock support the British Red Cross by turning their windows red.

“We’ve been in Pembroke Dock for many years and receive such amazing support from the local community through our amazing volunteers over the years, generous donations and loyal customers.”
