Tickets are selling fast for the forthcoming inaugural gala dinner and dance of the newly formed ‘This Is Me’ charity.
The fundraising evening, which includes an auction and raffle is being held on Saturday, May 18 at the De Valence Pavilion in Tenby to celebrate the life of Nicole Ferguson, almost a year to the day of her passing.
The evening includes a three course meal, entertainment and a disco, an auction including many fantastic prizes, as well as a very extensive raffle.
‘This Is Me’ was recently set up by Nathan Ward, Nicole’s husband together with good friend Sharron Ennis.
“Many people will have known Nicole and the sort of person she was. Nicole was truly selfless, always doing things for others.
“She was expert in raising money for things she believed in and she would be wholly supportive of our efforts,” said Nathan.
“I want to give back to some of the wonderful services that helped Nicole, my family and I through such a difficult time.
“One of the benefactors will be Paul Sartori as well as other cancer related support services in Pembrokeshire.”
An evening of bingo last Autumn started off the fundraising with the fabulous sum of £1,500 raised, whilst local PT Instructor Kerri Moran-Morris also raised £50 with a walk and talk fitness activity.
Many other events and activities are also being planned.
Tickets for the Tenby gala and dinner are available at £50 per head.
