Everyone was very busy at the Tenby Project as lots of people came for the coffee morning and needed tea, coffee, biscuits and raffle tickets, as well as wanting to have a chat. It was good to see everyone helping to make it an enjoyable morning.

There was also plenty to do: go shopping for lunch ingredients, prepare the room, cook the food, eat it and clear up, all by 1.30 pm. It was decided to have hot dogs, and with them baked beans, spaghetti hoops, mushrooms, fried onions and salad! It made for an excellent meal, and was all done in time to head for the museum.

There are several interesting galleries, and people were able to wander around and find out about things that they were interested in. The History of Tenby gallery was popular, and hunting around the galleries for the dragons was also enjoyed. Ideas for more activities were suggested, and the Tenby Project will be back next month for another visit.

This Monday, July 4, there will be a coffee morning as usual, from 10.30 am until 12 noon, and then after lunch, Cherry from PAVS will be training everyone in how to be Dementia Friendly. Everyone is welcome to attend the coffee morning – it is £1 for tea/coffee and biscuits, and £1 for a raffle ticket. Everyone is also welcome to join the Tenby Project for the Dementia Friendly training at about 1.30 pm if they wish to, and that is just for a donation to the Tenby Project running costs.
