Last Monday, June 6, after a busy coffee morning – thanks to everyone who attended - the Tenby Project had a celebration lunch for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Augustus Place was appropriately decorated with bunting and flags, and party food was enjoyed by all. In fact, anticipation was high, as could be seen by a thank you speech made to the coffee morning attendees thanking them for coming and noting that it was time for them to leave!

After the meal, as the planned activity of line dancing was unable to take place, and as it was such a lovely afternoon, everyone decided to head round to the community garden to enjoy the sunshine. People variously sat and enjoyed the sunshine, played boules and did a little weeding of the vegetables. Everyone agreed it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

This week, Monday June 13, the Tenby Project will meet as usual from 10 am and everyone is welcome. The coffee morning runs from 11 am to 12 and is £1 for tea/coffee and biscuits, and £1 for a raffle ticket. Plans are still being made for an afternoon activity.
