With many businesses and attractions in Tenby continuing to respond to the challenges of the “season that never ends”, the town’s Mayor Clr. Mrs. Sam Skyrme-Blackhall visited a landmark this week that has already started to plan for the next season.
St. Catherine’s Fort, stituated off Castle Beach, has enjoyed a busy season which continues with their upcoming Halloween event. They are also planning to add to the attraction.
Island manager Andy Jones (pictured with the Mayor) explained: “With more rooms opening next year and increased opportunities for people to learn about the island and its history, we are adding more value to this popular attraction.”
Clr. Mrs. Skyrme-Blackhall remarked: “It is so impressive what everyone in the hospitality and tourism industry has done this year.
“In an incredibly busy time they have ensured that interesting attractions are open to visitors and locals alike. They have also maintained and created employment for local people.
“We wish all our businesses continued success and as we prepare for Christmas we really are in the season that never ends!” she added.
