Events over the festive period at Tenby’s De Valence Pavilion proved popular a local councillor told her colleagues this week.
Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown said that the Hunt Ball at the end of November had made a huge profit, whilst she also congratulated the ‘Tenby Round Table boys’ for the Senior Citizen’s Christmas dinner, who did a ‘marvellous’ job for over 200 OAPs in attendance.
“We also had a panto on Monday, with over 200 people there and have already booked another for next January,” said Clr. Mrs. Brown,
“People asked why hadn’t we done one before, well we did, last year, but nobody came!
“We’re looking to perhaps put on a Halloween panto this year, in conjunction with the organisers of the successful zombie night.
“There will be no events now for six weeks whilst the venue has new lighting installed, which will hopefully be completed by the end of March,” added Clr. Mrs. Brown.
