The Tenby and District Lions will be hosting their annual ‘Paella Festival’ on the August Bank Holiday weekend Sunday, forming the finalé of the resort’s calendar of Summer Spectacular events.

Providing great fun for family members young and old to enjoy, the festival takes place on August 30, from 3 to 10 pm, at Tenby harbour.

Acts performing at the charity event include - Dancers from the Seren School of Irish Dancing; the Kerry Wilson School of Street Dance; and for younger audience members, Fergie and Chloe; and back by popular demand, Matt the Magic Man.

Into the evening, one of Pembrokeshire’s up-and-coming retro bands Rick Berry and the Retrospecs will be performing, before Tenby’s own Elephant Gerald top the bill.

To add to the fun, there will be face-painting, air tattoos, Rob Rides with his fairground, and a great range of stalls, not forgetting the fantastic food and refreshments served throughout the day, including beefburgers, hot dogs, hot potatoes and, of course, the famous paella.

Admission is free, but the organisers do ask for your generosity with a bucket collection in aid of Lions charities.

No alcohol is allowed into this event or to be taken out, but there will be a licensed bar available on site.

Please note, there will be no firework display at this event.
