TENBY Friendship Club members had a great day out in the city instead of a meeting in the hall.

The Taf Valley coach left Tenby at 9am on Wednesday, November 30, stopped at Kilgetty, and arrived at the back of the Quadrant Shooping Centre, Swansea.

Members went off in groups and found different cafes, including being directed by a local to Berties - to the left as you leave the Quadrant - who looked after them so well. Some members arrived back at the coach with bags and bags of Christmas shopping, but everyone agreed it was a good shopping day. The coach driver dropped everyone off - all very tired, and glad to get home.

The Club members are away again to York and Chatsworth House, so there will not be a meeting on December 7. Next meeting is on December 14, in Augustus Place Hall at 2pm and is the club’s last gathering for 2022. Members who have not booked for the over 65’s Christmas Dinner in the De Valence, 6pm, on the 14th, please do so with the Qube.
