Matters discussed at the November meeting of Templeton Community Council were as follows:
Chairman's remarks: The chairman thanked all those who arranged and helped with the bonfire and firework event, especially Clr. Barbara Priest for arranging the fireworks, the YFC for the food and Clr. Richard Watkins who, ably assisted by Mr. Tom Leathers, arranged the wonderful bonfire.
Further congratulations to Templeton school on their project at Carew Cheriton Control Tower.
Matters arising: The new bus stop at Templeton was to go ahead and the bus shelter was to remain.
Notices had been placed regarding the casual vacancy.
New items of business: Approval of dog signs had beeen received and six were to be ordered.
County Councillor's report: Gullies and ditches were to be cleared in Tanners Lane and more to be cleared on Pembroke Hill.
Correspondence: A note of thanks was received from Templeton CP School and Lewis and Charlie Reynolds for the bonfire and fireworks event.
Church Hall: The Christmas lights were to be switched on on December 1.
Councillor's reports: Gullies blocked in Woods Cross were to be reported.
Clr. Watkins expressed thanks on behalf of the council for excellent work on West Lane.
