Five members attended a recent meeting of the community council of Templeton which was held in the Church Hall. Matters arising: Clr. Jones asked if the seat had been placed at the school over the Christmas period. Clr. Priest said that it was not. Clr. Griffiths told the council that the school handyman would fix it in place for them. Correspondence: Pembrokeshire County Council informed the council that the road along West Lane, Templeton, would be closed for water works in February. Financial: It was agreed to pay the following bills: grass cutting of Village Green - £881.25; hire of church hall - £60; clerk's wages - £535.60. Planning: There were no objections to the following application: 07/1195/PA change of use of agricultural building to one residential unit at The Grove, Molleston. AOB: Clr. Jones asked if anything had been done regarding the decoration of the church hall. It was agreed to telephone Mr. Tony Wilson and ask him to to give a price for the job. Clr. Priest asked for any ideas for the forthcoming PLANED Action Plan Meeting to be held in the village. The state of the bus shelter/toilet block at the bottom of the village was again raised. It was decided to write to Pembrokeshire County Council to ask if they were still willing to replace it with a new perspex bus shelter. It was also suggested council ask them if they were responsible for the up-keep of the top bus shelter as this was also getting untidy. Next meeting: February 21 at 8 pm.
