Narberth Neighbourhood Policing Team are tackling young people who have been throwing eggs at houses in Kilgetty.

At the recent Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting, it was mentioned that residents in the Millfield Acres areas had complained about children throwing eggs at their houses.

The Narberth Neighbourhood Policing Team will tackle the issue as part of a campaign in the run up to Hallowe'en and bonfire night.

The teams will be speaking to local shopkeepers in a bid to get them to impose restrictions of the selling of eggs and flour in this traditionally busy time for anti-social behaviour.

They will also be going into schools talking to people about trick and treating and how to stay safe.

PCSO Dave Henry said: "Hallowe'en and bonfire night are not excuses for anti-social behaviour.

"We want to work with shop keepers and young people to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable season."

At the meeting, residents also complained about the use of motorbikes to cause anti-social behaviour in the Kiln Park Road area of Narberth.

The team will increase patrols in the area and monitor the situation.

The Narberth PACT meeting takes place on the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm, at Bloomfield Community Centre, Narberth.
