Tavernspite playgroup has celebrated its 20th anniversary by raising £2,000.
Past and present members of the group are pictured in the village hall during an open day held to mark the occasion.
"We put on a display of photographs of children, staff and parents who have been involved with the group for the past 20 years and we got a wonderful response from villagers and supporters," said playgroup leader Mandy Harry.
The group also hosted an auction night at the Sporting Chance which raised £2,000 of much-needed funds for the group.
"We are extremely grateful to all the local businesses and tourist attractions that donated items and are thrilled to have raised so much money," added Mrs. Harry.
