Whitland travelled to table-toppers Drefach and put in a excellent performance.
Liam Price opened the scoring with a penalty after Geraint Phillips had been brought down.
Drefach equalised with a looping shot which gave goalie Ben James no chance.
In the second half, Drefach took the lead, but the resolute Whitland side, with Rhino Thomas pulling the strings and John Seeley driving them forward, did not let their heads drop.
Liam Price pounced to equalise after good work by Shane Morgan and then scored again to claim his hat-trick and win the game 3-2 against previously 'unbeaten' Drefach.
Under 8s: With perfect conditions for the Carmarthen Mini League, Whitland seemed to be up for it from the start, with Daniel Howells and Kaleb Price adding to the ranks and making a difference. The drew the first game 0-0 and the second 1-1, with a fine corner from Lee Strudley finding Thomas Blake at the back post. Cari Rogers also came close on a few occasions. Also drawing their three remaining games, Whitland stayed unbeaten thanks to Lewis Thomas and Dafydd James in goal, who produced a fine display.
Under 9s: Like the U8s, the U9s were also up for it from the start, with Cari Rogers and Thomas Blake stepping up to the team. They helped in drawing the first two games, with Thomas scoring. The third game saw Daniel Rees Legrice and Joseph Freckleton linking up well with outstanding passing and narrowly missing out on a few goals. Like the Under 8s, Whitland went home unbeaten, with a fine defending display from Dion Morgan, and an outstanding goalkeeping performance from Joshua Rees Legrice.
