The organisers behind the ‘Pembrokeshire Street Food Festival’ held in Tenby have stated that this year’s event has been rescheduled to take place in September, as long as the Government guidelines allow.
The three-day event which has been setup at the resort’s South Beach car park with a variety of food vendors attending for the past three years, and a wealth of visitors, was due to take place this weekend (June 19 to 21) but cancelled due to the pandemic.
“We have been continuously reviewing the government guidelines on coronavirus and unfortunately our planned event will not be taking place this weekend - however all is not lost as the Food Festival 2020 does plan to take place on a new date this year, and has been rescheduled for September 11 to 13,” said a spokesperson for the event.
“These are plans at this stage and are of course dependent on government guidelines and regulations. Customer safety and that of our traders and staff is of first and foremost importance. Under no circumstances will we continue with the event, if it is not deemed safe for us to do so,” they added.
