I would like to update your readers with the progress that I have been making towards my project of producing a booklet celebrating 100 years of carnivals in Tenby.

Several of your readers have been in touch and provided me with some very interesting photographs and information, so I would like to thank them very much for what they have provided and to reassure everyone that I have got the pictures safe and will promise to look after them.

I’m renewing the appeal again as it not too late if there are still any locals who may not have managed to find the time over the summer period to look at any pictures hidden in old photo albums etc. I do hope to get together with local printers shortly and discuss what I have collated so far; this is just to see where I am with it all and to ensure that I’m on the right track.

To ensure that I’ve not missed out on any other information, could you please get in touch with me if there are any more locals out there that may have anything tucked away that could be of interest towards my project.
