The loyal supporters pictured attend St John’s Communty Hall’s weekly coffee mornings, showing that the community is classed as ‘one crew’ when supporting the RNLI’s rescue services - whether you belong to a fundraising branch or regularly support events.
On the third Thursday of each month this great group of local people are supporting RNLI coffee mornings, thanks to an extremely thoughtful invitation from St. John’s Community Hall chair Mrs. Vanessa Owen to Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild.
A blessing in disguise after many months of very little fundraising by the Guild for the charity.
“Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild are delighted to announce that you have supported raising £518.95 for the RNLI since we met you all in July this year - such an amount will make a huge difference to the charity’s expenditure, goes without saying,” said Daphne Bush of the Guild.
“Without your support, we couldn’t do what we do for the charity - so a massive ‘thank you’ on behalf of the RNLI and Pembroke Guild members.
“We are thoroughly enjoying our monthly visits too - the photo says it all!”
St. John’s RNLI Christmas coffee mornings will take place on November 18 and December 16, and members of the Guild look forward to meeting everyone again.
