Concerns over speeding on on of the main routes into Tenby are to be raised with Pembrokeshire County Council.

In a letter from a local resident that came before Tenby town council at its first remote meeting of 2021 on Tuesday night it was pointed out that those living in the vicinity of Narberth Road were ‘increasingly worried’ by the speed of drivers travelling along the stretch of road from the roundabout down towards the North Beach car park.

“Cars speed well above the national speed limit for a residential area - there are quite a few houses opening directly onto this road, making it dangerous for both cars and pedestrians,” pointed out the correspondent, suggesting that the introduction of appropriate measures such as speed bumps or traffic calming signage would be welcome and could go some way to helping prevent an accidents from occurring.

Members of the town council agreed to pass on the concerns raised to PCC.
