Changes in speed restrictions in Narberth have been welcomed by the town council.

Councillors thanked Pembrokeshire County Council for proposing to change the current 40 mph limit on Kiln Park Road to 30 mph and a section of the A478 Jesse Road to 30 mph.

This was to provide a 30 mph link from the new school to the station, they were informed.

Clr. Mrs. Sue Rees also suggested the council look at the provision of a mini roundabout at the corner of Kiln Park Road which she felt would also help slow traffic down before it passed the school.
