Pembrokeshire County Council are continuing to undertake works this week along Tenby’s South Parade, including improvement works to the bus stop along the route.

This work involves raising the pavement kerb to accommodate low threshold buses; moving the dropped kerb to a newly created crossing build-out; and addressing the former tree pits in the area of the bus stop.

Remedial works to rectify the poor condition of some parts of the South Parade has also continued with the former tree pits being paved over.

Tenby town council and members of the public have long called for improvement works along the route, especially since the felling of the red horse chestnut trees along the section back in the summer of 2017.
