A very successful 'Songs of Praise' was held in the Village Hall on Sunday afternoon. Twenty hymns were chosen by those present and sung by the congregation.
The event was organised by Rev. Johnathan Copus, vicar of St. David's Church, and Rev. Huw George, minister of Ffynnon Chapel, who also gave a brief history of the hymn writers.
The music was provided by Rev. and Mrs. Copus.
In spite of the unfavourable weather, a large number of local people attended and the event was so enjoyed by all present that it was agreed to organise a similar one in the not too distant future.
The afternoon was rounded off with a cup of tea and Welsh tea cakes.
