Narberth CP School's Girls Football team attended the Pembrokeshire Girls Football tournament at Tasker Milward School, Haverfordwest, on Tuesday. The tournament had been organised by Sport Pembrokeshire.

Altogether over 150 girls competed in a well-organised tournament, with excellent football skills being shown.

The first game against Saundersfoot was a very close contest, but Narberth emerged 1-0 winners.

The second game was against Milford Haven and the girls played very well as a team with some great passing skills. Again, this was a 2-1 win.

Hakin were next and it was a 3-0 win.

The final group game against Mary Immaculate was a 1-0 loss, but again the girls showed good team spirit.

They emerged group winners and went on to play Stepaside School. They got off to a flying start with an early goal and this turned out to be the only goal of the game, which meant Narberth progressed to the final.

This game was against Fenton school and again after some excellent playing skills, they scored two excellent goals. The whole team played very well and were worthy winners at the end of the day.
