Narberth town councillors are calling for a site meeting with Pembrokeshire County Council to discuss problems caused by trees surrounding the Bus Stop building at the Town Moor.
Clr. Mrs. Sue Rees told her colleagues at Tuesday night's monthly meeting that the youth project had received a £1,000 donation which had helped fund a new roof, but that was now in danger of being damaged by the tall trees.
She was also concerned that youngsters who climbed them could seriously injure themselves.
The town council had previously asked the local authority to remove the trees, but their request had been turned down.
Clr. Mrs. Rees felt the trees served 'no purpose' and suggested planting deciduous trees and fruit trees elsewhere in the car park.
