Over the last few weeks, a group of local people have been meeting regularly in preparation for a Christmas concert called ‘Sing Christmas’. The aim of the choir is to sing together in a fun and informal way, learning new songs to help celebrate the Christmas season.

The concert will be held on Thursday, December 17, at 7 pm, in Monkton Priory Church, when the Monkton Priory School Junior choir will also be singing.

There is no charge to attend the concert, but there will be an opportunity to give towards the Christmas Appeal of The Smiles Foundation - a Christian charity working with families and children living in extreme poverty in Romania. (www.thesmilesfoundation.org).
