As many of 14 community projects could benefit to the tune of over a quarter of a million pounds thanks to the Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant - including Tenby’s De Valence Pavilion venue.
The grant is funded by Pembrokeshire’s second home Council Tax premium and aims to help bankroll projects addressing the mitigating issues of second home ownership in the County while adding value to local communities.
On Monday, March 9 the County Council’s Cabinet will be asked to approve a total of £255,660 to be distributed to local organisations following recommendations by the Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant Panel.
The sums involved range from £64,482 to the De Valence Pavilion Trust in Tenby to upgrade the building’s stage sound and lighting system, to £3,000 to Lamphey Community Council to help arrange social events throughout the year.
