The Rotary Club of Saundersfoot is once again pleased to support the Rotary Club of Chelmer Bridge Poppy Appeal. Saundersfoot has been thanked for helping Chelmer raise nearly £70,000 with the monies going to the Royal British Legion and Poppyscotland.
The sale of the new lapel pin badges depicted below shows the inscription of “Rotary Remembers” to mark the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War, which is within most Rotarians’ lifetime.
Besides local Rotary members proudly wearing the pin badges, they will also be present at the War Memorial on Sunday, November 13 to lay a wreath to commemorate the lives of local heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice giving their lives to help keep the World free from tyranny.
