Saundersfoot in Bloom best garden presentations were held at St. Brides Hotel Spa recently by kind permission of Mr. Andrew Evans.
Presenting the prizes was chairman of the community council Clr. Neil Sefton, who congratulated the Saundersfoot in Bloom organisation on their sterling work again this year, while Bloom president Duncan Hilling gave a hearty vote of thanks to all involved.
Judges were Keith Williams - chairman of Saundersfoot in Bloom, who thanked everyone for their help, Ann Wright and Clr. Martyn Williams.

Section
Class one - best garden visible from the road: first prize and the Patel Cup - Mr. John Archer, 11 Bevelin Hall; second prize and the Hayes Shield - Mrs. May McDermott, 2 Hean Close.
Class two - best forecourt without garden: first prize and the Bill O’ Connnor Cup - Raydene Deakin, Alray; second prize - Peter Deakin, Dave Hicks and Paula Beedles, Guys Maisonettes.
Class three - best display of window boxes, tubs and hanging baskets: first prize and the S.I.B. Shield - Diane Rigden, 11 North Close; second prize - Michelle Evans, 22 Castle View.
Class four - best senior citizens garden: first prize and the RAOB Shield - Raydene Deakin, Alray; second prize - Phillip Brace, 47 Sandy Hill Park.
Class five - best garden not visible from the road: first prize and the Penry Thomas Cup - Phillip Brace; second prize - Raydene Deakin.
Class six - best vegetable garden: First prize and the Angela Woods Plate - David Cox, 20 Castle View; second prize - Lynne Reyed, Greenfolds Cottage, Westfield Road.
Business Section
Class seven - best garden and the Anne Thomas Trophy - Captains Table.
Class eight - best premises with window boxes, tubs and hanging baskets: First prize and the Shrublands Shield - Sunny Vale Holiday Park; second prize - Captains Table.
Class nine - best overall display visible from the road and the Patel Shield - Captains Table.
Class 10 - best display retail premises with clubs institutions etc: First prize and the Ronowitz Shield - Saundersfoot Bay Leisure Park.
