Tenby Round Table will be kicking off the first of the seaside resort’s ‘Summer Spectacular’ events this Sunday.
The Round Table will be hosting the first and third spectaculars on July 29 and August 12 alongside the harbour, with the Rotary holding their events on August 4 and 18, with firework displays all scheduled (weather permitting) for these four dates.
Tenby and District Lions will be running their event on the August Bank holiday Sunday (no fireworks for that one).
The first Round Table event will feature performances from - Samba Doc, Sleeping Dogs, Caroline Street and Ffi.
Sunday will also see the naming ceremony for the newly finished Tenby Lugger take place - a lovingly recreated version of an original 1830s fishing boat.
Last year’s climbing wall will also return for children to try out in this unique setting.
Tenby Round Table Chairman Dan Cope said: “We are delighted to be back in Tenby Harbour on July 29 and August 12 to again organise two summer spectaculars for the residents and visitors to our beautiful town.
“These two events provide the backbone to our charity fundraising for the year. Without the support of those that attend we would not be able to give back to the many local causes and charities we support. We hope to see you all there!” he added.
All proceeds of the event will go to charity with a range of food and drinks available on the day, with events running from 3 to 10 pm, each Sunday.
