Nineteen teams took part in the Charity and Trivia Quiz Night organised recently by the Saundersfoot Rotary Club, and held at the Merlewood Hotel, Saundersfoot.

During a most convivial evening, over £300 was raised for charitable purposes.

Veteran member and quizmaster Ian Nicholls set the quiz which was closely contested and contained some intriguing questions.

Teams which took part were Tenby Inner Wheel, Probus Ladies, Ugly Sisters, the Four C’s, Tenby Sharks, Top of the Hill, J. R. and T., Short Planks, St. Issells Belles, Whitlow Warriors, Trevayners, New Friends, Bakers Dozen, Swingling Sefties, Stepaside Old Boys, Steps to Health, I Dunno and ABC.

The eventual winners were the ‘Baker’s Dozen’ team of Lee, Amanda, Olive and Norman. They are shown with the winners’ shield.
