At last week's meeting of the Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland, a further presentation was made to the Wales Air Ambulance.
Mike Ashbridge, who lives locally, spoke to the club about the Air Ambulance service which now has three helicopters which can reach anywhere in Wales in 20 minutes.
Recently, new helicopters with twin engines had been obtained.
Mike explained the high costs of running the service, which is entirely funded by voluntary contributions from clubs and organisations such as Rotary.
Presenting the cheque for £500 to Mike is president Derek Williams.
