Dyfed Powys Police are opening a regular monthly surgery at Kilgetty Community Hall.
The surgery will take place on the second Thursday of each month between 10 am and 12 noon.
Local PCSO officers will be in attendance to speak to residents of the community about their concerns and to listen to any issues they may wish to raise.
It is hoped that connecting with residents in this manner will help improve community relations and tackle any local issues in a speedy and efficient manner.
Commenting on this new venture, County Councilor David Pugh said: “This is a good example of partnership working, where the Begelly Kilgetty Community Association is able to offer facilities to the police to start their regular surgery.
“We hope this is a success and I would encourage all residents to call in to have a chat and free cup of coffee.”
The Community Association is hoping to build on this initiative to start a regular weekly coffee morning where residents can drop in for a free coffee and get to know their neighbours and find out what goes on within the area.
The next surgery will be on Thursday, August 9 at 10 am.
