A pot of over £35,000 is currently available to spend on revamping the Town Moor play park in Narberth.

Members of the town council heard on Tuesday night that this included £23,500 under the 106 scheme, an additional £5,000 from the county council, plus £5,000 from themelves and £1,000 from Civic Week.

Council suggested forming a steering committee to include two of their own members, two from the local authority and two from the play park committee to discuss the plans further.

FOOTNOTE: Mayor, Clr. Colin Williams, informed council that the next play park committee meeting would be held on Friday, February 18, at 6 pm, at the rugby club.
