Plastic Free Narberth will be taking to the streets in Narberth again.

On Sunday they will be litter picking throughout the town.

Their first litter pick back in August when 11 willing volunteers had an enjoyable morning collecting over 10 bags of litter from in and around the town.

Plastic Free Narberth will also be sharing a stall at Narberth Food Festival to inspire others and share ideas.

They are also hoping to get a bottle refill point for the town to cut down the use of plastic bottles and ask all the businesses to pledge to take three steps to reduce single use plastics.

Local Labour County Councillor, Vic Dennis said: “We are planning three more litter picks before Christmas - this weekend, Sunday, October 14 and Sunday, November 25.

“We will meet at 9.30 am on the Town Moor and depending on who turns up we will select the areas and roads to cover.”

“We have litter pickers, hoops, gloves and florescent jackets. Come along and join us. It is a great ways to exercise and helping out your community at the same time,” he added.
