Work to transform a former hotel overlooking Tenby’s South Beach into private flats has begun.

The application for Kinloch Court, Battery Road, The Burrows, which presents a change of use from hotel to residential providing 14 private flats, was given the thumbs up by members of Tenby Town Council last year.

William Lloyd Davies, director of property development consultants Arbenigol acting on behalf of applicants Kinloch Court Investments Ltd, told councillors that the new design would be influenced by 1930s style Art Deco.

Mr. Davies explained that the architects had worked closely with building conservation officer, Rob Scourfield, at the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority on the design.

The plans will also include car parking spaces on site.
