A public meeting will be held this week at Pembroke Dock’s Pater Hall to discuss planning proposals on an application to turn the former Cleddau Bridge Hotel into a care home.
The hotel closed its doors in the New Year, with 40 members of staff losing their jobs.
An application was recently submitted to Pembrokeshire County Council for a change of use of the premises to a 48-bedroom care home.
Following a meeting of Pembroke Dock Town Council’s planning committee, it was decided to hold the public meeting on Thursday (May 10) at 7 pm, with the purpose of discussions to allow members of the public together with former employees and suppliers to express any opinions they may have with regards to the planning application, with a view to the planning committee collating feedback and submitting a formal response to PCC’s head of planning.
