Maisie is two years old; she lives in Pentlepoir and attends Teilos tots. Last weekend she represented Pembrokeshire in the Miss Beauty UK national beauty pageant.
In the lead-up to the event Maisie collected milk bottle tops for a recycling drive from friends and family and from local schools ( St. Teilos, Saundersfoot and Pembroke Dock Community School).
Maisie collected tins of food and body care items to donate to the pageant charity Great minds pathway. She also completed litter picks and a charity bike ride.
Maisie competed in four rounds:
‘Camo’ round - raising awareness of mental health
‘This is Me’ - a fashion round where she could express herself
‘Repurpose’ round - a dress was made from mummy’s top for Maisie to wear.
‘Evening’ round - Maisie wore a blue ball gown.
Maisie has chosen The Maisie Moo Foundation as her charity of choice. This is a Pembrokeshire based charity that provides support to Pembrokeshire families with sick children.
Maisie won her age group and is now a national title holder! She holds the title of Miss Beauty UK - Tiny Miss 2021/22.
Responding to her success, her family told the Observer: “Mummy, Daddy and big sister Sophiia are so proud of Maisie; she lit up the room and her personality shone through all weekend. She showed what a kind caring and loving little girl she is.”
