Cotton’s Crèche held another Santa Paws event in December for all the lovely dogs to get a chance to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas - with funds from the event going towards aiding local guide dogs.

“We had lots of wonderful stalls, festive food and drink and a Nativity theme fancy dress competition for the dogs!” said Annie Thomas of Cotton’s Crèche a day-care facility for dogs near Narberth that keeps them entertained, busy and cared for throughout the day.

The event raised a magnificent £658.39 for the Pembrokeshire Guide Dogs.

“We are so thankful to everyone who made the day a success especially Derri, Jess Jorden, Christey, Nanna, Jenny and Kim and of course Santa Davey who made the day extra special! We look forward to doing it all over again for our Anniversary Dog Show at the beginning of May,” she continued.

The members of the Pembrokeshire Fundraising Branch of Guide Dogs Cymru once again wish to say a huge thank you to Annie and Deri of Cotton’s Dog care Creche for another wonderful donation.

Veronica Prescott-Owen and guide dog Tarka (pictured) were delighted to accept the donation, and are photographed with Annie at a presentation last week.

The money will help to ensure that new and replacement guide dogs are available as and when required providing visually impaired people with mobility and independence in safety. Sincere thanks also goes to everyone who supported the event making it such a wonderful success.
