Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has annouced that is has taken the decision to close its attractions at Carew Castle, Castell Henllys and Oriel y Parc until further notice.

The Authority’s development management committee had been due to meet on Wednesday but this was cancelled due to the Coronavirus.

A decision on Pembrokeshire County Council’s outline application for the Brynair development was due to be made at the meeting.

However, following the change of government advice the decision was taken to postpone the meeting following consultation of the committee Chair Clr. Reg Owens.

It is not clear when the meeting will be rescheduled.

In addition the authority’s HQ in?Pembroke?Dock will also be shut to the public, but phone lines will remain open.

A spokesperson for Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority spokesperson said: “In response to the Government’s advice to limit social contact due to the impact of Coronavirus, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority has taken the decision to close its HQ in Pembroke Dock and its visitor attractions at Carew Castle, Castell Henllys and Oriel y Parc to the public.

“The Authority has also taken the decision to postpone all public meetings, including the Development Management Committee meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday March 18 and cancel all events.
