Pembroke Dock Town Team has secured a grant from Pembrokeshire County Council’s Enhancing Pembrokeshire fund to employ a Town Champion/Community Engagement Officer.

The Town Team is a group of businesses, organisations and individuals working together to make Pembroke Dock a great place to live, work, visit and do business.

The group is open to all and includes people with a wide range of skills who are always full of ideas. However as team of already busy volunteers they are always short on time.

The Town Team has been behind events such as Bungee off the Bridge, the Beer and Gin Festival, Star Wars Pop-Up Cinema and the Soapbox Derby.

They are now looking to think big and cement their position and ability to make things happen in the town by employing someone to support and develop their team of volunteers.

The Town Team meets on the first Monday of every month at 5.30 pm in the VC Gallery on Dimond Street (in the old Post Office).

Everyone with an interest in making things happen in Pembroke Dock is welcome.
