Pembroke Castle is busy gearing up for what should be a brilliant weekend of live music.

On Friday, July 15, the UK’s number 1 Abba tribute act ‘Revival’ will be headlining, supported by Pop-Up Bowie and local favourites Tuxedo Funktion. Saturday 16th sees UK no1 selling Jamie Lawson take the stage supported by Calum Scott and Pembrokeshire’s Jodie Marie, and the weekend will see Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra completing a great weekend on Sunday 17th.

Tickets are still available for Friday and Saturday, however Sunday has sold out. Tickets are available from www.pembrokecastle.co.uk and also over the counter at Pembroke Castle Gift Shop.

Friday and Saturday are ‘standing only’ events, with no food or drink to be taken into the venue, whilst Sunday is ‘picnic style’. So on Sunday, concert-goers are permitted to take into the venue folding seats, food and drink (including alcohol). However, in a change from last year’s concerts, glass items, including bottles and drinking glasses, are not permitted.

On each day, the gates will open at 4 pm and more detailed schedules will appear on Pembroke Castle’s website early next week. For those travelling by car, there will be a free park and ride facility from Pembroke (Bush) Comprehensive School on each night from 4-11 pm. There will also be a park and walk facility from Golden Grove Primary School, Pembroke, from 5-11 pm.
