A collective sale of pedigree Limousin cattle, on behalf of the South Wales and Mid West Limousin Breeders, at Whitland Mart on Saturday, saw females selling to 3,700 gns for a Nenuphar sired cow - Sherry Vanessa with her Objat sired June born bull calf and served back in calf to Fieldson Alfy -consigned by Mr. and Mrs. T. Jones, Bowley, Hereford and purchased by C. D. Griffiths, Llangain.
Other mature females sold to 2,800 gns for Angiean Vixen, with her June 08 born bull calf by Oxygene, sold by J. V. and K. Brown, Colby Moor Lane, Wiston, and purchased by P. R. and J. K. Williams, Clynderwen. J. G . Jones, Heol, consigned two Heol Aurora progeny, one with an April born heifer calf for 1,500 gns to D. B. Thomas, Llanybyther, and Heol Alwen with her heifer calf for 1,450 gns to T. W. Roberts & Son, Lisvane.
