An Observer headline made it onto prime TV over the weekend, after chat show host Graham Norton took a light-hearted look at local new stories from across the UK. on his popular BBC1 programme.
The headline 'Footpath proves popular', relating to a story from an edition of the Narberth and Whitland Observer dating back to April, 2013, when a new footpath linking Jesse Road to Station Road in Narberth opened to the public, made Graham and guests on his Friday night show, actors Dave Tennant and Olivia Colman, pop star Jessie J and Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein, chuckle on the sofa.
Our colleagues at the Western Telegraph enjoyed a giggle at the story, too, despite the fact that our poster had sneaked a slot on their advertising space... suggesting that the pen is mightier than the sandwich board!
