The funeral took place on Thursday, April 28 of Mrs. Emily Morris, affectionately known as “Mems”, who passed away peacefully at Withybush hospital on April 13. She was 83.
The service was kindly conducted by Pastor Peter Morgan, a family friend, who delivered an affectionate celebration of her life.
Mems was born in Blaenau Ffestiniog in North Wales. She commenced a career in nursing before she met and married her husband Llew, who pre-deceased her in 2018. They moved to Pembrokeshire with their family in 1980 when Llew was appointed manager of the Tenby branch of NatWest bank.
Mems will be remembered by all who knew her as someone who had a very warm and kind personality and very much enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by son Tony; daughter and partner Sue & Rachel; daughter and son in law Pam & Steve; grandchildren Matt, Beth, and Gareth; and brother and sister-in-law Eryl & Eileen.
