A memorial service will be held at Zoar Chapel Funeral Home, Llanteg, to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Colin West, of Guipry, France and formerly of Pembroke Dock.

Beloved husband of Elaine, Colin passed away in January this year and expressed a wish to be laid to rest in Pembrokeshire with his family.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the memorial service which will be held tomorrow (Saturday, June 4) at 11 am, prior to interment in the Garden of Remembrance at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth at 12 noon.

The death occurred peacefully at Park House Court Nursing Home on Saturday, May 28, of Mrs. Veronica Gwendoline Thomas. She was aged 86 and was of Clareston Court, Tenby.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

SAUNDERSFOOT

A large gathering of family and friends attended St. Mary’s Church, Tenby, for the funeral of Gail on Wednesday, May 25.

Gail was born in Tenby on July 22, 1955, the eldest of five children to Betty and John Lewis.

After leaving school, Gail worked for T. P. Hughes, Mr. Fred Broomhead and Mr. John Rees. She married Nick on December 22, 1998, and they made their home in Saundersfoot where they lived until Gail’s passing. Gail battled ill health for the last 18 months, but always with a smile on her face and never complaining.

Gail was a devoted wife, sister, aunty, daughter-in-law and sister-in-law and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Gail died on May 17 at Glangwili Hospital, with Nick by her bedside.

Family left to mourn are husband Nick, mother-in-law and father-in-law Linda and George, brother Kevin, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law David and Vanessa, Ann and Mike, Sarah and Josh, sisters and brothers-in-law Beverley and Bernie, Moira and Allan and brother-in-law Gavin, nephews Derryn and Thomas, niece Michelle, great-nephews Lennox and Jacob and great-nieces Macy-J, Layla, Kayla and Lily-Grace.

Bearers at the funeral were brother-in-law Allan and cousin Mike Day.
